The final exam had a more typical distribution of grades than previous exams, i.e. not such a preponderance of A's. We graded generously, in particular for Problem 6 involving reduction of order. We gave everyone 5 of 15 points free on problem 6, in order to make it a smaller portion of the total grade. Another 5 points were given simply for knowing what reduction of order was, and the remaining 5 were for correct execution of the method.
